Simone Atkinson attended the University of Miami School of Law, where she was an editor on the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review. During law school, Ms. Atkinson worked for the United States Attorney's Office in their asset forfeiture division.
Ms. Atkinson has prosecuted major felonies in several Arizona jurisdictions, and has been trained by the State of Arizona in their field sobriety testing and Drug Recognition Programs.
Ms. Atkinson has been doing criminal defense work for over nine years, and in that time has conducted in excess of two hundred jury trials. She enjoys an excellent rapport with both prosecutors and the judiciary. She possesses expert negotiation skills at both the pre-trial and trial level.
Simone Atkinson has worked with Craig Penrod for the past three years and has developed an expertise in the area of DUI law, as well as all criminal matters.
